Drawn to Water July: Two Weeks Remaining!
The July exhibition of "Drawn to Water: A Floating Photographic Exhibition" has just two more weeks in production. If you haven't seen this month's shows, you're missing out!
Pictured above is photo by Andrea Franke. Andreas Franke has been in the photographic industry for more than twenty years. According to Luerzer’s Archive he is among the “200 Best Photographers Worldwide”. Over the years, he has worked for great brands such as Ben & Jerry’s, Coca-Cola, Ford, General Electric, Gillette, Heineken, Nike, Visa, and Wrigley‘s. His still-lives and his surreal effects are famous. In his pictures every little detail is planned precisely. There is no space left for chance.
Pictured above is a photo by Eric Prinvault. Eric Prinvault offers a photographic immersion into the Urak Lawoi of Koh Lanta, the famous island of the Andaman Sea, in southwest Thailand. His photographs have been the object of numerous exhibitions in France, Spain, the United States and Japan, both in galleries, institutional places, or during festivals. In parallel, he works freelance for the press, NGOs and corporate communication.
Pictured above is a photo by Corey Arnold. Corey is a photographer and Alaskan commercial fisherman. From 2003-2010 he worked as a deckhand on the Bering Sea crabber f/v Rollo and more recently, captains a wild salmon gillnetting operation in Bristol Bay, Alaska. The off season is filled with travel, gallery exhibitions, magazine and ad photography assignments mixed with a bit of backyard gardening, cat maintenance, and skateboarding in Portland, Oregon.
"Drawn to Water" is a collaboration between the East River Ferry and United Photo Industries, with support by Duggal, and can be seen on East River Ferry dedicated vessels Monday through Friday only until September. A new installation will begin on or around August 1st.
