Wall St. / Pier 11

Located in Lower Manhattan near the South Street Seaport (home of the recently renovated South Street Seaport Museum) and the newly opened Pier 15, Pier 11 is more than just a hub for commuters traveling to and from the Wall St. district. Local parks, such as East River Park, which starts just north of the pier and stretches all the way up to E. 34th St., featuring bike paths, a promenade, and athletic fields, and also historic Battery Park, just south of the pier, directly past the Staten Island Ferry Terminal are popular local destinations. From the Battery Maritime Building, our neighbor to the south, you can catch a free ferry to Governors Island on the weekends and the Downtown Manhattan Heliport is also just a short walk away. The majority of the Museums of Lower Manhattan collective are also located within walking distance, which means you can easily visit the American Museum of the American Indian (Smithsonian), the Museum of American Financial History, the NYC Police Museum, and the Federal Hall National Memorial among others. There's also great food & drink in the neighborhood, with Stone St., being a favorite destination. By exploring this neighborhood, you'll see there's more to it than meets the eye.
